The business delivers 12 discrete service divisions across services. With a goal is to leave a sustained, positive footprint in communities, New Start is proud to be a 100% Indigenous owned Australian company.

Working with Government and some of Australia’s largest employers, New Start provides recruitment services for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander positions and placements for Government-Funded Projects, including apprentices, trainees, cadets and interns. New Start also delivers Transition to Work Programs for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Identified roles, including ongoing mentoring, coaching and support post-placement.

Established in 2011, from humble beginnings but with a clear vision and focus, by ex-rugby league athlete Daniel Phillips, New Start was launched as a recruitment and labour hire company to create employment opportunities for indigenous people and communities.
